Dr. Velja Mijatovic is a consultant gynaecologist who is working in the field of reproductive medicine at the VU University Medical Centre Amsterdam.

He is also involved as a specialist in the multidisciplinary team of the VUmc Endometriosis Centre which is one of the 3 centres of excellence for the treatment of this disease in the Netherlands.

His clinical and research interest is among others focused on imaging techniques such as ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance-guided high intensity focused ultrasound.
