1980 – 1984 she studied fyscal therapie at the Academie voor Fysiotherapie Leiden;

1984-1991: she studied medicine at the Universities of Groningen and Leiden;

1993-1983 training as a gynaecologist at Rijks Universiteit Leiden;

1999 - 2002 fellowship Laparoscopic Surgery in Sydney, Australie;

2005 – now  Dept obstet & gynaecology Erasmus MC Rotterdam.
